How can you make a
REAL positive difference in the world?
Each year Gregory Wright, RPA-C, a PA in our community participates annually
in a Medical Mission in Nicaragua. He is looking for individuals who would
be willing to donate funding and time to this valuable cause.NONE of the money raised in
anyway supports Greg's portion of the mission. His goal is to raise
$10,000 and current funding is short by at least $5000.
Requirements for those who
wish to participate in providing medical care are few. The trip dates are
between April 7-15. This is over the Easter and Spring Break for some
schools. This was intentional as some high school students with will be
traveling on the mission
The cost is $1600 which includes airfare, insurance, in-country travel,
housing, most meals, and interpreters.
Providers would need to provide Greg their resume, a copy of their
medical license and passport. The resume is a requirement for Nicaragua.
If anyone is interested in
volunteering funds or their
time, please contact contact him via
email or via his cell, at 420-5064.
